K Interactive is my online portfolio Website showcasing some of my work. With 14 years of experience, I am dedicated to creating professional, custom Web designs that are fun, full of life & drenched in vivid color that you can almost taste the pixels.

Originally from Orange County, CA, I was uprooted to the 'perfect little bubble' called Singapore in 2010 and lived abroad for about a year. I was excited for this new chapter in my life and fully embraced this change knowing that opportunities like this did not come along everyday. While living in Singapore, I freelanced as a Web design consultant and Flash instructor. Living in a foreign country definitely opened my eyes as a designer and I gained artistic inspiration from my new surroundings filled with unique modern structures, which did not look like buildings but giant pieces of artwork strategically sprinkled across the country. I was also lucky enough to have been able to experience a year full of travel and remarkable adventures to Singapore's neighboring countries — from having visited the jaw-dropping beauty of Angkor Wat (UNESCO World Heritage Site) in Cambodia to the exquisite monastaries of Tibet. Now that I am back home to southern CA, I am excited to try my hand at creating my own masterpiece...for the world of the Web.

I love putting both sides of my brain to the test. I am experienced with managing & giving art direction to others, as well as throwing myself in the trenches and getting my hands dirty in User Experience Design, User Interface Design, as well as designing Flash animations, logos + a bit of print. Since I started my career as an Interactive Web Developer, I find myself drawn to the coding aspect of the Web world as well. I am proficient with xHTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript + ActionScript. In addition to all this, I am an advocate for designing useful + usable Websites so I put focus on Web Usability and User Experience.
